Handcrafted Japanese Kitchen Knives
This beautiful 3 piece set of kitchen knives is extra special as it includes 2 single edged knives (Yanagiba & Deba) and 1 double edged knife (Gyuto). Single edged knives are for slicing meat and fish, whereas the double edged knife is designed to cut any ingredients.
Handle is magnolia wood with a natural lacquer named, ‘Urushi’ which provides water resistance and antibacterial qualities.

Knife 1 = Gyuto Damascus. Long blade of Damascus steel is excellent for any ingredients as this is a versatile knife for everyday use. Designed to be light in weight for easy use, strength and durability.
Knife 2 = Yanagiba. Small Yanagiba is a single blade, slicing knife suitable for slicing fish such as a block of tuna and yellowtail fish. Also useful for other fish and meat. Slice the blade along the meat and fish to see a smooth and flawless surface. Blade length 180mm.
Knife 3 = Deba. Medium Deba is a single edged knife, specifically designed for chopping and filleting fish. Especially useful for small-medium fish, although it’s also useful for cutting meat. The weight, thickness and angle of the blade helps with chopping the fish, and the flat surface (slightly arching) slides against the bone to filet a perfect fish filet. Blade length 150mm.
Please wash and dry the knife straight after use and never put it in dishwasher. Heating the blades will stretch the blades and is detrimental to the quality. Please store in dry cool spot.
