Handcrafted Japanese Damascus Everyday Kitchen Knives
This 3 piece set of kitchen knives is perfect for both home cooking and commercial kitchens. Each knife is designed to be light in weight so that the blades are easy to use, stronger and durable.
Each blade is made of Damascus, which is multiple steels forged together to create beautiful pattern, as well as to make the steel more durable, sharper and more resistant to rusting.
The handle is made with magnolia wood, finished with a natural lacquer named, ‘Urushi’ which has antibacterial and water proof qualities.

Knife 1 = Petit Damascus. Perfect for cutting, peeling and mincing smaller ingredients like fruits, salad ingredients and herbs. Blade length 150mm.
Knife 2 = Santoku Damascus. This blade shape and length of 16cm makes it handy to cut any kind of ingredients including vegetable, meat, fish, herbs, etc. The perfect kitchen all-rounder! Blade length 210mm.
Knife 3 = Nakiri Damascus. Blade shape is a thin and long with rectangular head and ‘chin’ at the base. It’s used for chopping, slicing and shredding vegetables. Traditionally, this is a ‘mum’s knife’ in Japan, where vegetable was a large part of the diet. Since Meiji era (1860 onwards) this shape blade has been used less as it is not as suitable as Santoku to cut meat. Blade length 165mm.
Please wash and dry the knife straight after use and never put it in dishwasher. Heating the blades will stretch the blades and is detrimental to the quality. Please store in dry cool spot.
