Knife 1 = Petit Santoku. This small santoku blade is useful for chopping small ingredients such as small fruits, vegetables and herbs. Blade length 105mm.
Knife 2 = Santoku. This blade shape and length of 16cm makes it handy to cut any kind of ingredients including vegetable, meat, fish, herbs, etc. The perfect kitchen all-rounder!
Knife 3 = Nakiri. Blade shape is a thin and long with rectangular head and ‘chin’ at the base. It’s used for chopping, slicing and shredding vegetables. Traditionally, this is a ‘mum’s knife’ in Japan, where vegetable was a large part of the diet. Since Meiji era (1860 onwards) this shape blade has been used less as it is not as suitable as Santoku to cut meat. Blade length 170mm.
Please wash and dry the knife straight after use and never put it in dishwasher. Heating the blades will stretch the blades and is detrimental to the quality. Please store in dry cool spot.
